From the south or west
Follow the A84/A85 (Stirling to Crianlarich) and take the A827 to Killin, turning right before Lix Toll Garage. On entering Killin, watch for the South Loch Tay sign before the hotel at the bridge over the Falls of Dochart, and turn right. Then continue with the last mile below.
From the east
If you enter Killin from the east on the A827, drive through the village until you have crossed both single-track bridges, then turn left after the Falls of Dochart Hotel. Then continue with the last mile below.
The last mile
You are now on a single-track road. Take it steadily — and enjoy it, because this is where people start spotting deer.
- After only 75 metres, at the sharp right-hand bend, go straight ahead between two stone pillars signed "Auchmore".
- You are no longer on a tarmac road. Take your time: it is bumpy, but the views are worth the slow pace.
- After approximately 0.6 miles you will pass a large white house on your right. Continue on.
- Go over the bridge and stay to the left. You will pass a bungalow on your left.
- Continue to the entrance to the courtyard — approximately one mile in total from the village.

Where to park
Lawers and Tarmachan
Do not drive into the courtyard. Pass the courtyard entrance on your right and go round to the car park facing north towards the loch and mountains. The entrances to both apartments are from this car park, not from the courtyard.
The Stables
Go into the courtyard. The apartment is first on your right, and that is where you park. Please don't obstruct access to any of the garages for any length of time.
