Pick the days you want and the things you want to do — fishing, the hills, the loch, the fire — and we arrange the guides, the boats, the permits and the food. One person organising the lot, so you only ever have one number to ring.
How it works
Choose a length, then choose your days
Tours run for three or five days and are based at Auchmore, so you unpack once. Every activity is arranged locally, within a short drive of the courtyard.

Three nights in one of the apartments with up to four activities — enough for a big day out, a day on the water and an evening around the fire.

The activities
What you can put in your itinerary
Full-day activities take up most of a day; the rest are half-days or evenings, so they pair well together. Tell us what matters most and we will build the running order around the weather.

Guided hill walking
A Munro day on Ben Lawers or the Tarmachan Ridge, or a gentler glen and woodland circuit if the weather closes in.
Half day or evening
Boat trip on Loch Tay
Out on the water for the views back to Killin and Ben Lawers, with a stop on the shore for coffee.
Half day or evening
Campfire evening
Fire pit lit at dusk, blankets, drams and stories. The simplest evening of the trip and usually the one people talk about afterwards.

Courtyard BBQ dinner
Scottish beef, lamb and salmon on the grill in the courtyard, with salads and puddings, laid out on a long table.

Private chef dinner
A local chef cooks a three-course dinner in your apartment using Perthshire produce, and clears up afterwards.

Stalking & rough shooting
Arranged through a licensed local estate and qualified stalker, with all permissions, safety briefing and equipment covered.

Whisky tasting evening
A guided tasting of Highland and Speyside drams around the table, with tasting notes.

Clay pigeon shooting
A morning of clays with an instructor — good fun for complete beginners.

Canoe & kayak paddle
Boats, buoyancy aids and a guide for a sheltered paddle along the Killin shore.

Foraging & wild larder walk
A short walk with a forager picking mushrooms, berries and herbs in season, cooked into supper.

The Falls of Dochart, the MacNab burial ground on Inchbuie and the old railway line, with the stories behind them.

Driven out to the best light of the day for the loch, the falls and the hills.

Bikes delivered to the courtyard for the Lochs & Glens route, including the Glen Ogle viaduct.
